Sale was fantastic!
We will have some photos of the Spring/Summer 2010 sale, but it was TERRIFIC! Great consignors brought wonderful merchandise, awesome volunteers and vendors, and lots and lots of enthusiastic shoppers! There was a definite buzz in the air Presale Bash night. We have lots of updates that we will be doing to the website (a login button has been requested on the front page) among other changes that will make the Charleston Repeating process even more stream-lined and easier prior to the Fall sale. But some of you were already asking how soon can you get ready/sign up to consign/etc. The "doors" will be opened to all consignors and volunteers on June 1st. That is when the dates of the Fall/Winter sale (fall/winter clothing and shoes as well as all the other goodies) will be announced and you can register and even begin inputting your duds in the online tagging system! So, put that date on your calendar!! AND --- tell your friends!!
But go ahead and begin culling whenever you want. Now is as good a time as any. As you are bringing out the shorts and strappy dresses, put up the cords and sweaters in a Charleston Repeats' bin or bucket and along side it have a bin with your cardstock, ziplock bags, hangers and pins. You can even start an inventory list in a notebook as you put the items in (size and brand and price) and then type it in once June hits! Keeping all your hangers and pins that you got at the Spring Sale and recycling them sure helps cut your cost down too!
Also, we are hoping to really bulk up on our larger sizes--6t, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18 and 20. This sale is NOT just for the sweet itty-bitties! We had LOTS of people looking for 6T and larger--so make sure that you tell your friends with older kids to get ready to sell their items and make some holiday cash!
